Well, that's something new, isn't it?

No-one can say that I'm jumping on the bandwagon by (re)starting my blog. If I tried to jump on that particular bandwagon, I'd have to be as fast as Usain Bolt, and be able to jump higher than space. I've had a website since about 1996, but in the last couple of years it's been relegated to an also-ran in my online life, and has dwindled from something I'd update weekly, to a 1 page static dumping ground for my web work. NO MORE!

Yes it's late, I know, but given the potential plans I have up my sleeves for the next year, now is a good time to start getting my shit out there. So to say. That's the plan anyway, hopefully the interest will last more than a week once the spike in traffic (12 page views! Thanks mum.) has died down.

Thing(s) of note (if you give a shit care that much) would be the automatic url shortener for the blog posts (courtesy of CollyLogic) - none of that tinyurl crap (although I'm a fan of is.gd myself), everything for the blog now has it's own project14 short URL.Also worth mentioning would be the absolute easy of development using Expression Engine - I could have built this all in WordPress, but much of it would have been a hack - EE just makes things 10 times easier.

There may be some slight bugs in the design for IE7 users, but nothing major, and of course IE users in general will get a below-par (shouldn't that be above-par?) experience - move to a better browser and you'll get lovely rounded corners and text-shadow in places...
