Merging three sites (WENB, FSB, and NGB) in to one is a process that look a lot longer than expected, especially when everyone involved is doing it in their spare time, but the end result is something much more grown-up and extensible than what came before.
Keeping the 'NGB' moniker - though the expanded name has changed - and the general shape of the logo meant that the transition wasn't as abrupt as it could be, and a fresher (some might say garish!) colour palette and cleaner design makes it stand out a bit from the other similar fan-run sites (I hope).
Over a period of a couple of years - and countless discussions on what NGB could stand for - I did all the branding, site design, all the front-end development, as well as some motion graphics design for the YouTube channel - all of which are templated for other members of the team to generate ongoing work from. None of it would have been possible, however, without the technical and WordPress migration skills of 44Bytes.
